• Xiled Syndicate Policies
  • Special thanks to XGN STORM VII ⛈️

  • ACTIVITY POLICY
  • While we are a laid-back community, we ask all XS members (not on LOA) to remain active within the community to keep their memberships active. Participation is what makes our communities grow and brings members together, ensuring we remain a healthy and active organization.

-Console Activity: Members of Xiled Syndicate holding an active rank of RCT+ are required to take part in squad meetings, game nights, and other activities a minimum of once a month.

-Website Activity: All members of Xiled Syndicate must remain active on the Xiled Syndicate website with a minimum of 1 check-in per week within their divisional sub-forums. While officers may request more participation, members are not ‘required’ to do more.

-Attendance: Every member of Xiled Syndicate is important to the overall success of OUR communities. When you are not here, someone else must fill your role. Consequently, you are expected to report to games, practices, and meetings on time at the scheduled start of the day. Reporting to games, practices, and meetings shows initiative and responsibility.

  • COURT SYSTEM POLICY
  • In order to have a Membership Revocation, Membership Reinstate, former involvement in any Non-XS community or Website Ban officially appealed, the member, or potential members (including during any training of a new member into the community), must go through the Xiled Syndicate Court System on the forums. However, please be aware of any minimum time requirements before appealing (see Disciplinary Policy below). All appeals will be processed in a transparent and unbiased manner by our court of community judges. Once an appeal has been processed and decided upon by the court judges, the decision is final. If the appeal is denied and the member, former member, or community disagrees with the court’s ruling, a subsequent appeal may be reconsidered after 6 month’s time.
(180 Days) from the date of the ruling. At any point in this process the Head Court Judge may add or remove any stipulations in regards to said member’s return. If the member contacts any court judges or court clerks before or during an investigation, they will be automatically denied and must wait an additional 30 days before they can re-submit their appeal. The Board of Directors have the right to determine what rank is suitable for members to return, in which case the ruling will be final. Individuals who are not directly involved with a case asking information or arguing with decisions may result in disciplinary actions!

  • DISCORD PARTICIPATION POLICY
  • All members of Xiled Syndicate will be required to have access, in some part, to the Discord App for the sake of proper communication within and without the Division. This is accessible through any smartphone, PC, laptop, or even via Microsoft Edge (on the Xbox One) or other browsers (if only to the extent of viewing).

Any member of Xiled Syndicate wishing to have or create their own server:

    • Has to get permission from their Division Leader. The Division Leader will then notify their Director, which will, in turn, take the request to the Chief Strategic Officer.
    • The CSO will create the requested server and set up all security permissions. Following this, they will continue to monitor the server for the safety of its members.
  • DIVISION SPLIT POLICY
  • Although it is no longer the main focus of division staff and Division Leader to split their respective division, XS senior leadership recognizes the need for communities to have the ability to expand. For that reason, this policy outlines the minimum guidelines for a division to split within XS. Keep in mind that once a community reaches their defined maximum they will not be able to split any more divisions. This policy is meant only for growing communities within XS.

For a Division Split to occur, the division must have the following:

    • Must be flagship for at least one week (there are exceptions).
    • A minimum of 750 members.
    • 1 Division Leader.
    • 1 Co-Division Leader.
    • Minimum of 10 Founders.
    • Minimum of 10 Co-Founders.
    • 1 General.
    • A full complement of Colonels.
    • A full complement of Majors.
    • Minimum of 15 Captains.
    • Minimum of 15 Lieutenants.

The existing Division Leader must compile and submit a complete list, or roster, of which staff will transfer to the new division. The roster will be made to ensure the most “even” as possible split of the staff with regards to activity and leadership potential.
Once these requirements are met, the Division Leader will then await approval by the division’s Director and the COO. The COO will then appoint a Senior Director and provide full access to the division’s tags/CMS to audit and verify the division’s membership. Upon completion of the audit and verification, the existing Division will be deemed “Flagship” and a new Division Tag will be created and assigned. As a result, the split may commence immediately.

The Division Leader (of the existing Division), may be promoted to Director (space providing). The Co-Division Leader may choose to be promoted to Division Leader of the existing division or to transfer to the new division as Division Leader, whereas one of the Founders would then be promoted to Division Leader of the division not chosen.
Should the Division Leader of the existing division not be promoted to Director, the Co-Division Leader would then transfer to the new division as its Division Leader, and the chosen Founder to Co-Division Leader.

  • EQUAL GAMING OPPORTUNITY POLICY
  • An important part of Xiled Syndicate’s mission is to provide equal gaming opportunities to all gamers. Discrimination against anyone, including but not limited to game (play/skill), race, age, gender bias, sexual orientation, gender orientation, religious affiliation, national origin, disability, political affiliation, Gamertag, any other personal interest, or investment is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Xiled Syndicate strives to provide a community environment which is fair and equal to all its members.

  • UPPER-DIVISIONAL TEAMS POLICY
  • Xiled Syndicate believes in the practical autonomy of divisions within its communities. As such, individual divisions are expected to develop teams within their own ranks that help facilitate meaningful member connections.

Upper-Divisional teams are led by Co-Founders within the division. The Division Leader appoints Co-Founders to their designated teams. Each Co-Founder may only be a member of 1 team at any given time. Co-Founders at any point may ask their Division Leader to be placed on another team. The Division Leader may choose to satisfy this request but is ultimately the final say as to which team the Co-Founder is placed. Team leaders have no official change to their status as Co-Founders in relation to the greater Xiled Syndicate ranking structure (See XS Ranking Structure).

A division is required to have one of each of the following team types (provided enough staff to fill the role):

    Activity Team:
The Activity team is responsible for maintaining a high level of activity within the division. The objective of the activity team is to provide opportunities to each and every member to game and enjoy their membership within XS. To achieve this members of the team must host game nights for their division. Once a game night has been decided it must be posted in the division’s game nights channel a minimum of 24 hrs prior to the specified start time, so that all members of the division have a fair chance to participate. To remain a member of the team a member must host a minimum of 2 game nights a week (preferably more) and remain active with the team.

    Recruitment Team:
The Recruitment team is responsible for maintaining a consistent flow of quality members into the division. The objective of the recruitment team is to utilize a division’s most outgoing and positive members to help bring in high quality recruits and grow the division as well as XS. Recruits brought in by the recruitment team are not required to be “trained-in” by recruitment team members and should instead be given to the General to assign qualified trainers. To remain a member of the team a member must set aside time to actively recruit new members at least once a week and remain active with the team.

    Member Outreach Team:
The Member Outreach Team is responsible for member retention and welcoming new members into the division. The objective of the member outreach team is to ensure that no member is left behind when it comes to the benefits of the XS community. Team members will be responsible for introducing newly trained in members to the benefits of XS as a community. This includes but is not limited to, answering questions, teaching about the XS ranking structure, going over policies, bringing members to game nights, informing members of upcoming events including tournaments, informing members of the Upper-Divisional teams, etc. To remain a member of the team a member must actively find and interact with 3 new members each week and remain active with the team.

These 3 teams are the minimum for a division and may be expanded upon to include more engaging topics and utilities for a division. Some examples may include: Streaming team, Art team, Division Tournament team, Division Competitive team, etc. All teams created outside of the three listed here must be approved by the assigned director over the division.

All Upper-Divisional teams are required to follow the following guidelines:

    • A team may not exceed 20 members (not including Co-Founders).
    • Team leaders are the only ones that may add members to the team.
    • Team leaders may remove members from their team for inactivity or violations of the XS code of conduct.
    • Team Leaders/Co-Founders are responsible for managing an active roster for the team through a Google Sheets file owned by the division G-drive.
    • The team Leader will also choose one day a week to host a team meeting via discord VC.
    • No individual member is allowed to be on more than 2 teams at any given time.
    • The General may not belong to a team while holding the rank of General.
    • All issues and disputes among team members will be handled by the General.
    • All issues and disputes involving team leaders will be handled by the Division Leader.
  • XILED SYNDICATE DIPLOMATIC AFFAIRS POLICY
  • -The President of Xiled Syndicate operates as an Ambassador between Xiled Syndicate and foreign organizations.

-Members are NOT permitted to contact any other organization or company on behalf of Xiled Syndicate to facilitate or discuss community operations/relations. Report ALL questions, comments, and concerns about external organizations or its members to your Division Leader who will ensure the information reaches Mr XGN.

  • GAMING VIOLENCE POLICY
  • Xiled Syndicate believes in maintaining a safe and healthy gaming experience by promoting an open, friendly, and supportive gaming environment for all its members. Violence and/or threats of violence have no place in our community. Violence and/or threats are never an effective solution to any problem. Members are expected to immediately report any violation(s) of this policy to their superior officer(s). Any member found threatening another member, will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including, Rank Suspension and/or Membership Revocation from Xiled Syndicate!

  • INACTIVITY POLICY
  • We encourage all Xiled Syndicate members to remain active within the community in order to keep their memberships active. With the exception to the rank of Member, all Xiled Syndicate members are expected to log in and take part in Xiled Syndicate activities and meetings at least twice a month.

  • IMPERSONATION POLICY
  • Xiled Syndicate strictly prohibits any member from impersonating or misrepresenting themselves in any way. This includes, but is not limited to, impersonation or misrepresentation of a member’s uniform, rank, department affiliation, activity completions (including testing/training), and/or military status for the purpose of manipulation or abuse of rules, policies, or special consideration(s) not deserved. Xiled Syndicate conveys huge respect for all those who sacrifice themselves in defense of their countries. Impersonation of any military affiliation is prohibited, and those caught violating this policy may face severe disciplinary action(s), including but not limited to, permanent revocation of your membership.

  • MEMBER REINSTATE POLICY
  • Any member who decides to leave the community for more than 24 hours, of their own accord (on good terms), must go through the Xiled Syndicate Court System for Membership Reinstatement.

Any member found to be a “repeat” offender of this policy may be subject to possible demotion, Squad or Division Level DNH, and be automatically redirected to the Court System to appeal as a Membership Reinstate.

At that point their case will be reviewed by the court judges and the ruling will be final. All court judges have the right to place special circumstances on a member’s return, e.g. returning rank, members being placed on rank lock, or under a “One Strike”. At any point in this process, the Head Court Judge may add or remove any stipulations in regards to said member’s return. The COO, CoS, and CPO have the right to determine what rank is suitable for members to return at, in which case the ruling will be final.

*Do not contact the judges prior, during, or after your case. If you contact any judge about your ruling, before, during, or after the ruling, you will have to wait 30 days to re-apply again!

  • OPEN DOOR POLICY
  • In Xiled Syndicate, we wish to ensure that members of all ranks are given a path to speak to leadership. This includes, but is not limited to, topics about harassment, discrimination, and general clan questions or concerns. It is preferred that you use the Chain of Command and speak directly to the leaders placed over you. However, if after talking to your leadership you feel the need for additional discussion, you are welcomed to talk with your higher leadership by sending a private message to any or all members of the Board of Directors in the human resources section of the forums “Open Door” topic. The Open Door Policy is not an invitation to circumvent the Chain of Command. You, as a member of Xiled Syndicate, must always take responsibility, knowing that circumventing the Chain of Command may result in disciplinary action. The relationship between you and your leaders will be one of the most important relationships you will have in Xiled Syndicate.

  • RELATIONSHIP POLICY SUBJECT OF: “CONFLICT OF INTEREST”
  • Xiled Syndicate is a family-oriented community. Being a community, we understand that people will pair up. If two members do pair up, Xiled Syndicate asks them to please take responsibility and follow the rules outlined; this includes all marriages or “real-life” relationships of any sort. Taking responsibility for your relationship, you will be asked if your relationship gets in the way of your Xiled Syndicate duties, the duties of others, the running of the division, or the well being of any member in Xiled Syndicate. Disciplinary action can be up to, but not limited to, a Membership Revoke. This does qualify for real-life relationships if both parties are both in Xiled Syndicate. This policy does not permit any member over the age of 18 to be in any form of relationship with a member under the age of 18. Violation of this subject of the policy will result in an immediate Membership Revoke of both parties. Xiled Syndicate does allow personal “real life” relationships within the same division. Due to the potential perception of a conflict of interest, the division leader reserves the right to ask a member to transfer divisions should there be sufficient evidence to show the relationship negatively affects their division.
This is to prevent the idea of favoritism or “non-favoritism”.

Adult Xiled Syndicate members, over the age of 18, may not have, pursue, or engage in, any unlawful personal ‘pseudo-sexual’ relationship with another member under the age of 18 while in Xiled Syndicate.
Directors, Senior Directors, and Board of Directors are not allowed to have a personal ‘pseudo-sexual’ relationship(s) with any member in the Xiled Syndicate community, unless the COO approves. Members who are in a personal ‘pseudo-sexual’ relationship who are in XS, cannot be involved in each other’s promotions or disciplinary actions.
Relationships relating to this policy include: boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, father, mother, son, and daughter as well as all familial and/or LGBT relationships. This also includes any other alternative relationship(s) not stated here. The President, Vice President, COO, CoS, and CPO have the right to review each situation, and may overrule this policy if deemed necessary. This policy is subject to be modified by senior leadership as a whole on a case to case basis.

  • REJOINING POLICY
  • If you wish to return after being Membership Revoked, or after any involvement in a previous Non-XS community, you must log onto the forums, unless you were banned from the forums for your offense, and navigate to the Court System sub-forum. If necessary, you may ask someone whose membership is still in a good standing with Xiled Syndicate to go to the forums and do it for you. Go to the Court area, access, and fill out the appeal form correctly. Wait patiently for all judges and witnesses to post. Answer any and all questions directed to you. Accept the subsequent decision as final.

*Do not contact the judges prior, during, or after your case. If you contact any judges about your ruling, or even before it, your case may be denied and you will have to wait 30 days to re-apply again!

  • SLANDER / LIBEL / DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER POLICY
  • Slander is the oral communication of false statements that are harmful to a person’s reputation. Libel is the written or printed communication of false statements through words, pictures, or any form other than spoken words or gestures. Defamation is the communication of a false statement, or claim, which harms the reputation of an individual person or group. If the statements are proven to be true, it is a complete defense to a charge of slander. Oral opinions that don’t contain statements of fact don’t constitute slander. Slander is an act of communication that causes someone to be shamed, ridiculed, held in contempt, and lowered in the estimation of the community.

The basic elements of a claim of slander include:

    • A defamatory statement
    • Published to third parties
    • Where the speaker or publisher knew or should have known, that a statement(s) was false
  • SOCIAL MEDIA POLICIES
  • Xiled Syndicate is a gaming community, not a social media community. We handle official business on console(s). However, we do support the gaming app, Discord, for all chats outside of the console/forums as well as other social media platforms including but not excluding Kik, Facebook, Twitter, etc. All members will still be subject to all Xiled Syndicate policies and the Code of Conduct on any account linked with the Xiled Syndicate brand. For example, any private account on any social media is private; however, any account with Xiled Syndicate or link to Xiled Syndicate in the name or day-to-day activity is considered your Xiled Syndicate account. Any chat that holds more than 10 members with Xiled Syndicate accounts will be considered an unofficial Xiled Syndicate chat and will be shut down immediately as we have provided sanction Discord chats for every member. Any breach of this policy will have consequences.

While Xiled Syndicate does support the separation of community business and personal affairs, if an account is to be personal it is expected to not involve Xiled Syndicate affairs. If a personal account is known to belong to a member and is found to be disrespecting, slandering, or defaming another member, it will be subject to the terms outlined in the Xiled Syndicate Policies and is subject to the Code of Conduct.

Any member of Xiled Syndicate wishing to have or create their own server:

    • Has to get permission from their Division Leader who will then notify their Director which will then take the request to the CSO
    • The CSO will create the requested server and set all security permissions. Following that, they will continue to monitor the server for the safety of its members

  • The President of Xiled Syndicate operates as an Ambassador between Xiled Syndicate and foreign organizations.

Members are NOT permitted to contact any other organization or company on behalf of Xiled Syndicate to facilitate or discuss community operations/relations. Report ALL questions, comments, and concerns about external organizations or its members to your Division Leader who will ensure the information reaches Mr XGN.

  • XILED SYNDICATE SEVEN POLICY:

  • CORRECTIVE ENFORCEMENT POLICY
  • Whenever a member is to be investigated and/or reprimanded, two (2) officers above the member’s rank must be present at all times. No one else but the offender and two (2) officers may be allowed to attend.

  • COMMUNITY TAG POLICY
  • All current Xiled Syndicate members have 72 hours to add the community Gamertag, Xiled Syndicate, that have not already done so.

  • CONFIDENTIAL AND PROPRIETARY POLICY
  • Xiled Syndicate considers its confidential and proprietary information, including the confidential and proprietary information of our members, to be one of its most valuable assets. As a result, members must carefully protect, and must not disclose to any third party, any confidential and proprietary information belonging to Xiled Syndicate or its members. Protected information includes, but is not limited to, matters of a technical nature, any information technologies, product sources, product research, designs, matters of a business nature including, but not limited to, member lists, member data, strategies, and/or Board Room related topics.

  • DISCIPLINARY POLICY
  • -RANK SUSPENSION
This disciplinary step is for minor infractions of the rules or Code of Conduct. Only Majors, Generals, and above may Rank Suspend. Majors and Generals may Rank Suspend for any amount of time up to (and including) one (1) week, or two (2) meetings, whichever comes first. Co-Founders, Founders, Co-Division Leaders, and Division Leaders, or “Division Staff”, may Rank Suspend for any amount of time up to (and including) 2 weeks (14 days), or four (4) meetings, whichever comes first. Directors and Senior Directors may Rank Suspend for any amount of time up to three (3) weeks (21 days), or six (6) meetings, whichever comes first. Owner(s), President, Chief of Operations, and Chief of Staff may Rank Suspend for any amount of time up to (and including) four (4) weeks (30 days), or eight (8) meetings, whichever comes first.

Any member who is RS (Rank Suspended) will be required to recruit (5) new members to the community per week or equivalent to (1) per day.
RS members must also train these new recruits. If the member is under the rank of MSG they will be required to “sit-in” on all training from beginning to end. If the member does not successfully complete these tasks, the process will start over. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
If the member chooses not to comply in a timely manner (3 WEEKS) the member may be removed from the Division (DNH) and will revert to the conditions of the DNH process. RS will follow said member to their new Div. 3 DNH’s will result in an automatic MR.
RS member will also be expected to attend squad meetings and read aloud the Xiled Syndicate COC (Code of Conduct)
RS members will also be expected to post meeting notes once a week for whichever squad or division the member belongs to on the Xiled Syndicate Forums.
RS members will also be placed in the “timeout” server on Discord if said member is in the Xiled Syndicate Community Discord server. This will be in effect the entire duration of a member’s RS.
A member on Rank Suspension cannot attend any game nights, nor attend any squad activities or tournaments while on RS. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Once a member has been placed on RS for the 3rd occasion they will face an automatic demotion. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
A member facing his or her 6th RS will be automatically MR (Membership Revoked) and must wait 30 days before they may submit a Membership Revoke appeal through the Xiled Syndicate Court System.

    SQUAD LEVEL D.N.H.
If a General is having trouble with a member, the General may “D.N.H.” the particular member. The General must advise the Co-Founder that the member is D.N.H from the squad.

    DIVISION LEVEL D.N.H.
The Division Leader may choose to “D.N.H.” a member who has broken the Code of Conduct (CoC) or Policies. Only Division Leaders and above may “D.N.H.”. The member which has been “D.N.H.’d” has two days (48 hours) to find a division or squad (in another Division) to transfer to. The member will advise their previous Division Leader of what squad and division they wish to transfer to. At this point the Division Leader will set up the transfer. At no point in time is any member allowed to transfer Divisions without approval from their Division Leader. If, after 2 days, the member is unable to locate a suitable squad/division, the member is then considered a non-member and is Membership Revoked. When a member is D.N.H from a squad/division he or she is immediately removed from the CMS and any squad/division tag(s). A member is only allowed to be D.N.H (2) times from any division or squad. A third D.N.H will result in an automatic Membership Revoke.

    REEDUCATION SUSPENSION (RES)
A Reeducation Suspension (RES) is a special type of Rank Suspension enacted by DIRECTORS AND UP upon members that are in good standing within the community but have made the mistake of failing to read or follow certain warnings within the community pertaining to messages sent across the division and/or community Discord, Message Board, or other means, that can last up to a maximum of 30 days. During this period, the member will still be expected to follow the terms and conditions of a typical Rank Suspension including:

    Attending squad/division meetings
Taking and posting meeting notes once a week
Reading the CoC (Code of Conduct) aloud at meetings
A member on Re-Education Suspension cannot attend “COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES” such as game nights, workshops, tournaments, or squad activities while on RES WITH THE EXCEPTION OF WORKSHOPS SPECIFICALLY STIPULATED UNDER THE TERMS OF THE INDIVIDUAL’S RES.
RES members will be placed in the “Timeout” server on Discord.
Should the member fail to comply with the terms of the RES, they will be subject to the Membership Revoke policy.

MEMBERS WHO HAVE BEEN PLACED ON RES WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR A SUBSEQUENT (SECOND) RES AND WILL REVERT TO THE TERMS OF A MEMBERSHIP REVOKE.

    MEMBERSHIP REVOKED
A Membership Revoke is used when a member has severely (or continuously) broken the CoC, to the extent that senior leadership deems them entirely unfit for the community and must be removed immediately. Once a member has had their Membership Revoked, they may apply through the Xiled Syndicate Court System for as a Membership Revoke appeal after thirty (30) days.

The following list includes, but is not limited to, actionable offenses which may result in a member, or members, being Membership Revoked:

    Poaching
    Harassment (including sexual)
    Threats of Violence (credible)
    Information Technology Sabotage
    Stalking
    Felonious Activity

While Xiled Syndicate does support the separation of community business and personal affairs, if an account is to be personal it is expected to not involve Xiled Syndicate affairs. If a personal account is known to belong to a member and is found to be disrespecting, slandering, or defaming another member, it will be subject to the terms outlined in the Xiled Syndicate Policies and is subject to the Code of Conduct.

  • HARASSMENT/ INTIMIDATION POLICY
  • Xiled Syndicate will not tolerate harassment or intimidation of our members in any situation. Harassment is governed by state laws, which vary from state to state, but is usually defined as a course of conduct which annoys, threatens, intimidates, alarms, or puts a person in fear of their safety. Harassment is unwanted, unwelcome, and uninvited behavior that demeans threatens or offends the individual. Intimidation includes, but is not limited to, knowingly putting another person (or persons) in fear of harm to one’s physical, mental, emotional, or personal loss. Additionally, intimidating any Xiled Syndicate member in any way that holds their membership, rank, or title hostage in lieu of inappropriate or non-governed performance is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Example: threatening or intimidation for more than the minimum rank or membership requirements is strictly prohibited. Violations to this policy may result in severe disciplinary action(s), including but not limited to, Revocation of your membership. Additionally, you may even face criminal prosecution to the fullest extent of the law, should the situation provide for it.

  • LEAVE OF ABSENCE POLICY (L.O.A.)
  • There are three (3) types of LOA: Long-Term LOA, Short-Term LOA, and Military LOA.
Short-Term LOA: A member may request a “Short-Term” Leave of Absence from their Xiled Syndicate membership at any time without denial. The member will receive an LOA, and then be subsequently relieved of any and all responsibilities during their requested absence period. If the member is an officer, an equal (or superior) officer will be assigned to cover their responsibilities while on LOA. The period which qualifies as a “Short-Term” LOA is 1 to 15 days. Upon returning from a “Short-Term” LOA within the allotted time frame, the member is restored to active status and returned to their previous position before being placed on LOA.

Should the member not return to their squad/division in the allotted time frame, the member will automatically be upgraded to a “Long-Term” LOA status for the duration of the “Long-Term” time limit (75 days more). The member will then be removed from their squad and division tag to allow for Xiled Syndicate related progress to occur. The member’s position may then be made available for another member to be promoted into. Upon returning late, the TRANSFER POLICY will apply.

Long-term LOA: A member may receive a “Long-Term” leave of absence from their Xiled Syndicate membership at any time. The member will then be subsequently relieved of any and all responsibilities during their absence. The period for which qualifies as “Long-Term” LOA is 1 to 90 days. A member on “Long-Term” LOA must be removed from their squad and division tag(s). Should the member not return to their “post” in that time frame, the member will automatically be removed from the CMS and subject to the ACTIVITY / INACTIVITY POLICY.

Military LOA: A member may receive a “Military” Leave of Absence from their Xiled Syndicate membership at any time. The member will be subsequently relieved of any and all responsibilities during their absence. Military LOA is 1 to 365 days. Should the member not return to their squad/division in that time-frame, the member will automatically be removed from XGN, and become subject to the REJOINING POLICY. This is necessary due to the continual growth and evolution of XGN’s Membership and Policies, which after 365 days (or more), will have changed substantially. Any member found to have falsified their military status, or utilizing “Stolen Valor” for the purposes of a Military LOA, may be subject to disciplinary action(s), including but not limited to, Revocation of your membership.

    Procedure for LOA:
Member must notify a superior officer for LOA status.
Member must replace their rank with the initials “LOA” in their location.
Member must place the date of departure and estimated return of their LOA interval in their Bio.
    Example: “LOA 7/7/2010 to 7/7/2011”
Must friend/follow “Xiled Syndicate LoA TAG” until they return.
Must send message to “Xiled Syndicate LoA Tag” with your intended dates of departure and return.
    Example: “LOA 7/7/2010 to 7/27/2010”
Must be removed from the squad tag and CMS. (NOTE: MEMBERS ON LOA DO NOT HAVE TO BE REMOVED FROM ANY DISCORD SERVERS)
Upon returning, the member UN-FOLLOWS the “Xiled Syndicate LoA Tag”, removes LOA (and dates) from their Bio, sends the “Xiled Syndicate LoA Tag” a message stating they have returned, and must then report to their superior officer for active duty assignments, and/or CMS and tag updating.
Any member not following the Xiled Syndicate LoA Tag is to be considered NOT ON LOA, and subject to full membership policies. LOA provides for needed time away for personal reasons. Should a member be found to be actively playing on their console (game progression), they may be considered “returned from LOA” and subject to active duty policies (there are exceptions). LOA is a consideration to its membership, which Xiled Syndicate recognizes, for needed time away from their consoles (for personal or real-life demands), not Xiled Syndicate, or your responsibilities to your rank. If a member is found to be using the LOA process to shelter themselves from their responsibilities (shirking), they may face disciplinary action(s), including but not limited to, Membership Revocation.

  • RANKING POLICY
  • No rank is EVER guaranteed. Even if a squad or division splits, no rank (or title), is guaranteed. Members may not hold a rank (or title) without first successfully completing the Xiled Syndicate test and/or training for that position. Acting ranks (e.g.: “Acting General”), are to be secured by a superior rank, not a subordinate. For this example, a Co-Founder would be asked to act as Squad General until such time as a General could be promoted from the ranks, or transferred into the squad from another existing one. Again, successful completion of the appropriate Xiled Syndicate test/training must occur first. Squad level promotions may ONLY be affected by the squads’ General (or Acting General), unless the situation requires a Major to be promoted to General, which will then be administered by the Founder over that squad. Should there be a need to fill a Division Staff position, the Division Leader is responsible to promote a qualified member to that position. If the vacancy is the Division Leader position, the responsibility falls on the Director to submit a qualified member to the Board of Directors for voting. Additionally, anyone seeking a Division Leader or Co-Division Leader position must first submit an application to Xiled Syndicate for approval. All ranks above Co-Division Leader are voted in by the Board of Directors.

To obtain the ranks of GEN/MAJ, specific LDP slide-shows and testing are MANDATORY. Failure to do so will result in an AUTOMATIC demotion as well as possible disciplinary actions to any and all Division Staff members involved in said promotions!

  • REAL LIFE POLICY
  • Real-life comes first, but not to the detriment of the community. Xiled Syndicate recognizes that members have a real-life outside of the community, and members are expected to handle their personal life first. However, the responsibilities you voluntarily accepted are still expected to be upheld. If you cannot do your job, then either do not accept, or please surrender the responsibility. All jobs within Xiled Syndicate will require you to take a certain amount of your time away from your gaming and/or personal life. Complaints of inadequate game time, or personal time, or threats of quitting will qualify for an immediate demotion of rank, and/or maybe interpreted as your resignation from Xiled Syndicate, and will be handled accordingly.

  • RULE OF THREE POLICY:
  • Members are restricted from participating in more than three (3) departments at any given time. This is to ensure members are able to commit fully to those departments rather than only give a little to several.

  • SEXUAL HARASSMENT POLICY:
  • (S)exual (H)arassment (A)ssault (R)esponse (P)revention; S.H.A.R.P.

Any suggestion made to any member that sexual favors will affect any term or condition of membership with Xiled Syndicate will not be tolerated. It is the policy of Xiled Syndicate that any harassment, including acts which create a hostile gaming environment, or any other discriminatory act(s) directed against our members, will result in swift and severe discipline, up to and including, Memership Revoke. Xiled Syndicate will not tolerate any such harassment of our members by anyone. For purposes of this policy, sexual harassment is defined as: Any type of sexually oriented conduct, whether intentional or not, which is unwelcome, and has the purpose, or effect, of creating a gaming environment which is hostile, offensive, or coercive. The following are examples of conduct that, depending upon the circumstances, may constitute sexual harassment. Sexual harassment may include anything from calling a person a derogatory name to making advances of a sexual nature. Other forms of sexual harassment include:

Verbal abuse of a sexual nature; sexually degrading, or vulgar, words to describe an individual.
The display of sexually suggestive objects, pictures, posters or cartoons.
Unwelcome comments about an individual’s body. Asking questions about a person’s sexual preferences, sexual jokes, language, nicknames, advances, or propositions. Written or oral conduct. If a sexual harassment accusation has been made, both members will be RS’d for the duration of the investigation. Members must bring any violation of this policy to the immediate attention of their leaders so they can take it up to a Senior Director. This policy is one of the three exceptions to breaking the Chain of Command.

  • SECURITY RISK POLICY
  • If at any time the Division Leader suspects or has credible information that supports a credible threat that a squad, division, or website is going to become a victim of a breach of security by another clan, community or individual(s) from outside, or from within XS, the Division Leader may elect to lock down the squad and division tags. Additionally, the Division Leader may send out a “Please Watch Out For” alert to the squad and division to notify their members of the potential risk.

  • SUICIDE POLICY
  • The Board of Directors take Suicide & Self Harm very seriously. In recognition of the need to protect the health, safety, and welfare of its members; to promote healthy development, to safeguard against the threat or attempt of suicide among the membership, and to address barriers to gaming & learning, the community hereby adopts this policy. • TRAINING POLICY
  • The training process is a multi-step process that can be completed at different times, however, new potential recruits must be trained in within 72 hours.

No one is to be recruited with another community in their Gamertag, excluding Professional Organizations the potential new member is a “fan” of e.g.: FaZe, OpTic, nV, MLG
Official Xiled Syndicate Training Guide (May 2018)

Parties and Status- So that leadership can properly and efficiently contact you as a member, we ask that all members keep their parties open so that they can join if needed. Parties should only be locked down when discussing Xiled Syndicate business, or if a Senior Director or higher is in the party and requests the party to be placed on Invite Only. We also ask that you do NOT kick/remove members from parties. If you should have an issue with another member or non-member, please leave the party and start another. If the situation persists, you may be permitted to lock your party. A member should always keep their status set to Online. NOTE: Due to open foreign/domestic relations with other groups and individuals, the leadership of Xiled Syndicate must often keep Party Chats closed in order to protect the members of Xiled Syndicate within them.
Members may only be permitted to set their status as ‘Do Not Disturb’ under 3 circumstances: If they are not currently in front of/active at their console, are currently on an LOA Status, or if permitted by Divisional Staff. In any of these situations, they are still required to notify Senior Squad Staff and/or Division Staff. If a member is currently not active or conducting Xiled Syndicate business or gaming, the previous restrictions do not apply. However, if there are repeated questionable situations or abuse of these rules regarding “Do Not Disturb”, the member may be subject to questioning by Senior Squad Staff or Division Staff.
The following is now added to the recruitment process: when a new member joins XS before they are officially recruited, they must follow the following Gamertag: Xiled Syndicate  – This is in addition to following their squad tag and joining the Xiled Syndicate Xbox Club, as well as the Xiled Syndicate community Discord and their division Discord.

  • UNIFORM POLICY XBOX ONE
  • Your uniform is representative of your membership within Xiled Syndicate. Your Uniform contains details that allow others to authenticate your affiliation. Xiled Syndicate requires you to have your community, squad, division, and rank expressed in your gamer profile to be spelled out in your “Location” identifier box. A member’s bio must contain the Gamertag of who recruited the new member and date as well as the trainer and date.

It must be in ALL CAPS and in this format, for example: “XGN INSANITY GoD CPL”. This example uniform would describe a member of XGN who is in the squad of Insanity, the division of GoD, and the rank of Corporal.
Only a superior officer or Sr Leader can tell you to take off your uniform. If you delete your uniform for more than 24 hours you are forfeiting your membership in Xiled Syndicate and will be subject to the “Member Reinstate” policy.
Xiled Syndicate does NOT require a member to change their “Real Name” on their gamer profile to reflect any Xiled Syndicate affiliation.
Xiled Syndicate does NOT require the use of a “service record” in their Bio. However, it must include the Gamertag of who recruited the new member and date as well as the trainer and date. Members who wish to include their service records are allowed to do so!

Thank you for your time and continued dedication to working towards a safe and friendly online gaming environment.

  • TRANSFERRING POLICY
  • All members have the right to ask for a squad or division transfer. All transfers must be requested by the member wishing to transfer, in person, via direct message or verbally. The proper way to request a transfer is to either have a message forwarded up the chain of command to the Division Leader, or the member may go directly to the Division Leader and place their request verbally. Transfers are typically approved and completed without issue. Only the Division Leader, or General, of the, sought after, or “new”, division/squad may deny the transfer. The division or squad the member is seeking to leave cannot deny the transfer. The member may then select another potential division/squad for transfer, or choose to rescind their request (stay in their current division/squad). The member will then be invited into a party with their existing Division Leader, or their proxy, accompanied by the Division Leader of their new division, and the transfer will commence. The current Division Leader, or General, may require the member to provide up to one (1) recruit before the transfer may be affected. Simple breakdown steps to a squad/division transfer: Notify your General (or Division Leader) of your request, verbally or in writing. Your General (or Division Leader) will aid you in pursuing the transfer by contacting the leader of the desired squad/division.

The Division Leader will notify the Division Leader of the requested transfer and discuss the specifics surrounding the request. The ONLY information which may be conveyed, is the member’s CURRENT status. No other information may be divulged/conveyed about the member including (but not limited to) the member’s character, history, conduct, attitude, professionalism, or any lack thereof. This means the Division Leader cannot bad mouth or put down the member that is looking to transfer. The privacy of the member must be preserved and protected at all times. Xiled Syndicate members are allowed (3) Division Transfers only. Any more will result in an automatic membership revoke.

No member may transfer to another division while on RS or RES until requirements are met. This includes squad-level transfers!

ALL Division Leaders are responsible for filling out the Division Transfer form. Failure to do will result in an “invalid” transfer!

Additionally, any member looking to transfer from one XS Affiliated community to another XS Affiliated community must first quit their current community. After doing so, they must wait a total of thirty (30) days before placing a Membership Reinstate case in the Courts of the community they are seeking to join. Failure to follow this will result in an invalid membership, leaving said member subject to removal.

MEMBERS WHO TRANSFER CAN NOT BE PROMOTED IN A NEW DIVISION FOR A MINIMUM OF  [14] DAYS! THIS IS TO PREVENT DIVISIONAL AND COMMUNITY COAXING.
