About a month or so ago, I hopped into a party with a dear friend of mine and some awesome members of KN. A few minutes later in comes BGL King UwU, and believe it or not the first thing I ask him is, “should I be a basic American and ask if you put shrimp on the barbie?” His reaction is what told me this would be a beautiful friendship. A gentleman and a great leader, UwU has just become Co-Owner of Banished Gaming Legends!
I had the chance, the other day, to interview BGL King UwU to ask him about his new position in BGL, and his promotion to Chief of Staff & Chief of Performance.
When did you first hear of & join BGL?
“I heard of BGL when they joined XS, and I joined BGL 2 months ago.”
Was it your original “plan” to become a Co-Owner of the community?
“No it wasn’t. Jenna, a previous member and a previous BOD herself, asked me if I could join to help the squads grow and prosper.”
For people who may not know, what type of commitment does it take to become a BOD member or Co-Owner?
“It takes quite a lot of traits to become any high ranking leader in XS. Honesty, Trust, Love, Commitment and a little bit of cunning.”
So in your position you are essentially running the bigger picture of the community? What type of things will you be responsible for?
“Well currently we are going over negotiations over my official role, but as of now I am Chief of Staff and Chief of Performance.”
With your new position, will you be stepping away from that to be more day to day running the community as a whole?
“Yes. It’ll be more like the weekly performance of each squad will be handled by me, and I’ll be implementing new policies and procedures that’ll directly affect the performance and staff.”
What are some other goals that you have for BGL with your new position?
“Well right now since we are still so small, I wish to implement weekly requirements for all staff and to start to grow the squads into a full division. That’s my short term goal.”
