The classic farming pixel game is coming out with a new and exciting update brought to you by Concerned Ape, the game's creator.
For anyone who has never played Stardew Valley before, picture Animal crossing mixed with Minecraft but with pixels. There's crafting, mining, enemies, foraging, and even an incredibly in depth storyline with two different major paths. A chance to fall in love with several of the bachelors and bachelorettes, or risk it and try to win the hearts of all. Stardew Valley possess many of interesting things to do all while building the best farm you can from the comforts of your gaming rig.
Stardew Valley is one of those games where there really isn't an objective and is meant to be taken slow. The game itself relies on the player taking their time through the game and playing for a full run with everything achieved.
Now imagine, you can do all that with the company of friends too! First, online and local multiplayer joined the game on platforms in 2019 It had already been on PC for some time already. The last update for the game was back in February with just some minor bug fixes. Concerned Ape went on Twitter to tease this next update in early September.
Couch co-op is being added to the game. Split screen the valley with your, friend or sibling. For the time being it will only support two player couch co-op. On Nov. 13 Concered Ape tweeted the following.
"the 1.5 update is in the "home stretch", it's a very big update so there is a lot of polishing and bug fixing necessary to make sure it's ready. It'll be very fun to share it with all of you in the near future. I think you'll be really happy and surprised with all the new stuff!"
Also, many fans are excited that in the 1.5 update you will be able to move your bed.
Right now there is currently no release date for the update, but it can be expected for the beginning of 2021 following prior update schedules Concerned Ape has followed in the past.
