Banished Gaming Legends has more exciting news, and it is completely different from when we were first found in 2017! From the first BGL division split, to a new Board of Director, things are shaking up! I got the chance to meet with multiple leaders within BGL, and wonderful members that create who we are today! Let's take a look!
BGL has been through a huge milestone recently, and that would be splitting into 2 Divisions! These two Divisions are now Soldiers of War and Dawn of War. To gain the most coverage, I knew exactly who to interview, BGL Lucky 7XS is the COO in BGL. He is one of the most influential leaders, and one of the most, trustworthy people within the community. Interviewing Lucky was certainly one of the best interviews I ever participated in. The first question I asked was “When it comes to the big changes within BGL recently, what would you say was the biggest? When it comes to BGL’s history, what can you say about BGL’s growth compared to 2 or 3 years ago?”
“Structure. Applying the XS structure has been one of the biggest changes. Squads are no longer a thing, and we now have Divisions. That has been the biggest change within BGL. It brings everyone together to grow and mentor. We have never met the 300 member mark. We’ve been through lots of changes and attacks, but we are still here. Compared to the beginning of BGL, we are on the right path to growth. We have come a long ways, but there is still work to be done. We have better leaders, a better security team, but we are far from done.”
Lastly, I asked him “What keeps you motivated to help BGL grow?”
“I started BGL. I am one of the founding fathers. Bringing diverse people, providing safety, leadership for everyone, and helping everyone grow. That’s what keeps me going.”
It has been a while since Banished Gaming Legends had a new Board of Director, and he is one of the coolest dudes in the community. One of my personal great friends, and one of the relaxed people to talk to. BGL SLAY 7XS is now the Community Manager within BGL. He has been involved with the community for a long period of time with a huge amount of dedication and commitment. I had a few questions for him as well to gain one of the best viewpoints on the community. First, I asked “What do you think has been BGL’s biggest struggles, and how do you think we have overcome it?”
“Our biggest struggle was adapting to the new layout for the communities within Xiled Syndicate. Dropping squads, and pushing into Divisions was a huge adjustment. Breaking old habits and adapting to new ones. Overcoming it was just a matter of setting leadership up with the tools and knowledge needed for success.”
Next, I asked “How do you think BGL has improved since when you first joined the community?”
“I would say we’ve improved by establishing ourselves more within the XS environment. I’d still consider ourselves one of the communities not commonly known amongst others, but I wish to change that.”
Last point referring to his promotion, I asked “As Community Manager, how do you plan to help BGL and XS as a whole?”
“As stated before, the goal is to establish more of a presence within XS. Not only as a community capable of being like others, but a community capable of benefiting others. A community capable of competing with others, and at some points, a community capable of being idolized by others.”
BGL as a community has grown a lot, and we always have room for improvement. With a developing upper and lower divisional staff, our leaders we currently have are dependable, and we wouldn’t be where we are today without them. We are looking forward to more development with the community, and I cannot wait to share what is to come in the future!
